9th District appellate court hears arguments at Akron Law

Published: April 14, 2022

AKRON––The 9th District Court of Appeals recently held oral arguments at the University of Akron School of Law. About 50 students, faculty, and staff attended the arguments.
Before the oral arguments, Judge Jennifer Hensal spoke to the students and discussed the appellate process. The students then watched the oral arguments held before Judge Donna Carr, Judge Thomas Teodosio, and Judge Betty Sutton.
After the arguments, Judge Carr, Judge Teodosio, and Judge Sutton talked about their backgrounds and paths to the Court of Appeals. They then answered questions from the students.
The event was concluded by a lunch in the Law School commons. The Court thanks the Law School for the invitation and appreciates the willingness of the attorneys to present their oral arguments at Akron Law School.
