Newly Certified Delinquent Parcels
After second half property tax settlement has been completed, parcels of real estate with a balance due of $5.00 and above become certified delinquent. These parcels are required by law to be published.
Once a property is certified delinquent and remains delinquent for 60 days they are eligible for a tax certificate sale and subject to foreclosure. Taxpayers that enter into a contract to repay the delinquencies can avoid tax lien sale and foreclosure.
Payment Options
Payment in full can be made at the Fiscal Office with cash, check or money order. Payment can also be mailed by way of check or money order.

The Treasurer's Office offers many payment plan options for taxpayers. Once on a payment plan taxpayers can avoid the Tax Certificate Lien Sale, foreclosure and further penalty and interest charges against the parcel. Monthly payment amounts are based on the taxpayer’s financial ability to pay. The goal of the Treasurer's Office is to establish a payment amount the taxpayer can pay on the delinquent balance while maintaining the ability to pay current semi-annual taxes when they become due.
